Everything the Recreation Department is running this season. Charlotte residents receive a reduced rate on every program — the correct fee is applied when you choose your registration type at checkout.

Fall Soccer

Five divisions from Pre-K through Grade 5, including separate 3/4/5 boys and girls teams. A dri-fit team shirt is included in the registration fee. Practices are scheduled by the volunteer coaches around their availability.

  • Season opens Saturday, Aug 29 with a Fun Day
  • No games Labor Day weekend; play resumes Sept 12
  • Soccer Jamboree returns Saturday, Sept 19

Fall Tennis Lessons

Held on the tennis courts at Charlotte Town Beach and open to first through sixth grade. Pick the Monday/Wednesday or the Tuesday/Thursday section — Wednesday classes start earlier to fit the school early-release day.

  • Grades 1–3 and Grades 4–6 groups
  • Mon/Wed: Sept 14 – Sept 30

Co-ed volleyball for intermediate skill and above, in the main gym at Charlotte Central School. The start time shifts to 7:30pm during the winter to make room for youth basketball.

Multi-Age Pick-Up Basketball

Open pick-up basketball for ages 14 and up at Charlotte Central School. Buy a season pass online, or drop in with the suggested donation of $5 for adults and $3 for high school players.

Charlotte Adult Boot Camp

A self-led group focused on strength, conditioning, and stretching for a solid one-hour workout. Bring a mat, 5–10 lb weights, and water to the multipurpose room at CCS and get it done before the sun is up.

Villari's Martial Arts at CCS

The programme works on focus and respect while keeping learning enjoyable, with hands-on activities and games throughout. Each session runs twelve classes; there is no class when school is not in session.

Driver's Education

Vermont requires students aged 15–17 to complete driver's education with a certified instructor. Run by Parsons Driving School: 30 hours of classroom instruction, six hours of driving, and six hours of observation.

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–8pm
  • Sept 1 – Oct 20
  • First class in person in Lincoln, VT; rest on Zoom
  • Enrollment limited to 30 students
