Youth and adult sports, fitness, enrichment classes, and the Charlotte Town Beach — run by the Recreation Department for the whole community. Registration is open online, year-round.

Programs for the 2026–27 season

Charlotte residents receive a reduced rate on every program. Registration, rosters, and payment all happen online — create a household account once and you're set.

Fall Soccer

Recreational soccer for Pre-K through Grade 5, with a dri-fit team shirt included. Season opens with a Fun Day, and the Soccer Jamboree returns in September.

Lessons on the courts at Charlotte Town Beach for grades 1–6. Choose the Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday section.

Charlotte Town Beach

A summer on the lake, five minutes from town

The beach on Lake Champlain is open to the community from late May through Labor Day weekend, with picnic areas, a playground, disc golf, and tennis and pickleball courts. Parking is by season or daily pass.

  • Open daily 8am–10pm; attendants on site 10am–8pm
  • Season passes: $30 resident · $60 non-resident
  • Daily parking: $5 resident · $10 non-resident
  • Residents may purchase a second pass for $10

Melissa & Trevor Mack Memorial Scholarship

Every Charlotte child gets to play

Established in 2005, the Mack Scholarship provides financial support to Charlotte youth who otherwise would not be able to take part in recreation programming. It has helped many families since — and it runs entirely on community donations.
